your party suspiciously from head to toe before addressing you.

^3You call upon the elders of the city to come forth and ^9raise^3 your
party member from the dead. After accepting your sacrafice in the form
of ^9gold^3, the elders start to pray to their god and soon your friend
is once more among the living...

^3You inform the Warlock's Circle that they will raise your party member
in exchange for gold, or you will slay them all. Not seeming intimidated
in the bit, they form a circle around your comrade and chant in a low,
monotonous voice. After several minutes, the spark of life returns to your
friend's body...

^3You get into a long converstion with the shop keeper. After a few minutes
he gets tired of hearing you talking and goes to help another customer.

^CHaving reached what you feel is the peek of your abilities, you set out
to meet your destiny: the final battle between your party and ^DMalaky^C!
A large crowd gathers before the entrance to the sewers to see you off on
your most perilous quest. Be brave, warriors, and godspeed.^0&
&DOING_IT2
^CFeeling it is time for you to rid the world of the light-dwellers'
^5Council^C, you gather your weapons and make your way to the catacomb's
entrance. A large party of orcs, goblins and trolls sees you off, asking
you to bring the ^5Council^C back so you may all feast upon their
carcasses.^0&
&FINISH
With a bloodcurdling cry, the once mighty demon-lord Malaky staggers back,
drops to one knee, and falls flat on his face. With a thunderous roar, a
beam of intense white light blasts through Malaky's back, binding heaven
and earth for a few short seconds. When the light subsides, all that is
left of the demon-lord is a charred, burnt out husk. After looting his
lair, you return to city to share the spoils with the townsfolk. A great
feast is held that evening in your party's honor. The minstrels compose
songs in memory of your heroic deed. As the people feast for the first
time in generations, the flames from the celebration pyre suddenly rise
in a blinding flash burst to over ten feet high. From the flames, a booming
voice emanates.

^5"Foolish mortals! You believe you have rid yourselves of your master?
You believe your puny man-made weapons can truly hurt me? All you have
done is buy yourself some time. I shall return, sooner than you realise,
and then I will have my vengeance! You will then know the true meaning of
suffering and desolation!"^C
And with a final, cynical laugh, the voice subsides and the flames shrink
back to their normal heights. You quickly surmise that the celebration is
at an end... When will Malaky return? What will you do? Will you ever
truly rid Drakeville of the evil demon-lord? No one can answer these
questions. All you can do is wait for Malaky's return, and again attempt
to destroy him once and for all...

^5With a final gurgling breath, the last member of the almighty Council
falls to the ground. Hooting for joy, your party dances on their dead
carcasses and dares anyone to confront you, the most powerful warriors
of all times. After a few minutes of celebration, you gather the dead
bodies, plunder the Council's castle, and drag everything back to the
catacombs, where you will be the richest and most feared creatures in
the whole world, second only in power to the mighty Malaky. You order
the catacombs inhabitants to build a giant cooking fire to roast the
flesh of the Council. As the first flames lick the exposed flesh of
the Council, a blinding flash of white light engulfs their corpses.
When the light subsides, their corpses are gone! A booming voice,
seeminginly coming from everywhere at once, is heard throughout the
catacombs.

^5"You have succeeded in defeating us, vile monsters. However, did you
believe us so easily vanquished? Our magic is strong, and we can escape
even death. One day, sooner than you can imagine, we shall return and
reclaim our city. Then you shall know real fear, as we lay death and
destruction to all the minions of Malaky!"^C
With that, the voice of Drake the Wizard subsides. This will certainly
put a damper on the festivities. You decide that this must be a joke
of some kind, but if the Council does return, you'll find a way to
destroy them for all time. For now, more important things have your
attention, like the rape and pillage of the city of Drakeville...^0&

^CAs you are strolling down one of the back streets, you hear someone
addressing you from an alley between two buildings.
^5"Psst! Come here!"^C

^CAs you approach the alley, a huge, dark shape springs out at you.
Before you can react, a shining blade arcs down and slashes you
across the face. As the shape jumps back towards the alley, it stops
and turns, laughing evilly, to look at you. You are startled when you
make out just who the shape is... ^DMALAKY!^C Then, with a sudden clap
of thunder and a puff of smoke, he disappears!^0&

^CYou approach the alley, your hand resting lightly on your weapon, and
are relieved to see an old man, lying on the alley floor.
^5"I've fallen and I can't get up!"^C yells the old man. You help him to
his feet and dust him off. The old man, very grateful, hands you a small
vial. You unstopper it and gulp down its contents. A strange, tingling
fealing washes over you. Your hit-points have increased!^0&

^CA short, gnarled old lady walks up to you. ^5"Will you help me find
my cats?"^C she asks. You know fully well that you'll lose 2 catacomb
fights if you help her. Do you help the old woman?^0&

^CAfter searching and cursing for close to an hour, you find the
the old woman's cats. Eternally grateful, the old woman hands you
a small stone. You are delighted to realize it's a ^5"RUNE"^C!^0&

^CYou clearly state to the old lady that you are a ^5WARRIORS^C and
not ^5CAT-CATCHERS^C! She curses at you and spits on your boots!^0&
&GETUP!
^5"Hey! I didn't hear no bell!"^C you hear as you fall to the floor.
With the last bit of strength you have, you lift your head and are
amazed with what you see. A 2-inch tall little old man with angel wings
is fluttering in front of your face! He then proceeds to spit on the
ground and points at you.
^5"Get up you sonavabitch, 'cause Mickey loves ya!"^C

^5The game doesn't realy need deep instruction cause it's all menu driven
and is quite clear. Just follow the menu and I think that you'll be able
to find your way.
^FHere are a few tips...
^5Buy new weapons and armor whenever you have the gold. This is very
important.
^CAlways get your wounds healed after avery fight. Unless you didn't get
hit.
^5To add maximum fun to the game, get involved in writting E-MAIL and
gossip at the inn. The game gets very fun when players communicate.
^CIf you find that your team isn't any good. Just (!) kill it and
restart another one.
